Is your purchase not quite what you expected or is the size incorrect? No problem, you can easily return your order to us. You may try on and view an item as you would in a shop, but there are some rules.
GOOD TO KNOW
- You have 14 days from receipt of your order to register your return.
- Are you too late? Then your order will no longer be found in the portal. In that case, always contact us first so we can see what possibilities there are.
- After registering online, you then have 14 days to hand in your return at the post office. If you hand in the parcel after the 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return. The sooner you register and send in your return, the sooner it will be processed and you will receive your money back.
- Almost all outerwear and trousers are delivered with a large yellow return label. Do not remove this until you decide to keep the item! Once this vignette has been removed, there is no way we can return the item.
- Returns are at your own risk and expense.
- If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.
- If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please always contact us a.s.a.p. and include photos of the product and the labels so we can see which item/defect is concerned.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE:
1. Check your items
√ Has the return period of 14 days after receipt not expired
√ Is the yellow return label (in the case of outerwear and trousers) and all price tags still attached?
√ Is the article unworn and therefore not dirty, damaged or creased?
2. Submit your return online
Enter your own postcode and the full order number (including letters) in the portal to which you can start the return. You can choose to purchase a DPD shipping label via the portal. If you choose this option, print the shipping label. You can download this immediately and it will also be sent to you by e-mail (please check your e-mail address and any spam mail).
You can also choose another carrier outside the portal. We always advise you to send the parcel insured. The DPD label via the portal insures your parcel up to €500.
3. Pack your return
√ Fold the items neatly and close all zips and buttons. Because of the technical materials it is important not to cause serious creases and wrinkles, as these can damage the product.
Then pack the items back in their original packaging and put them in the shipping bag or box. Another bag or box is also fine, as long as it is sturdy so that it arrives undamaged
√ If you have items from several orders that you wish to return, you may simply return them in 1 parcel
√ Put the enclosed packing slip/order confirmation (or a copy) in the parcel
√ Stick the DPD shipping label on the parcel.
If you have chosen to send via another carrier, please write the return address on the parcel:
Skistore Swing
De Opslach 3
8448 GV Heerenveen
The Netherlands
4. Shipping
Hand over your return at a DPD parcel point or a carrier of your choice.
Returning (part of) your order is at your own risk. Keep the proof of delivery until we have received and processed your package.
Please note! After registering your return online, you have 14 days to return your parcel to the postal service. If you return the parcel after these 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return.
5. Refund
You will receive confirmation by e-mail when your return has been received and processed.
This is usually within a few days after your order has been delivered to us. The money will then be refunded to the account you paid with within a week after confirmation (usually longer for credit card payments). If you have chosen to pay afterwards, this will be adjusted on your Klarna invoice.
Please note! If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.

- Panel-load opening: full access in one move
- Frame sheet and aluminium stay in the back panel
- Internal sleeve for laptop or hydration reservoir
- DWR finish only, not waterproof in lasting rain
- Laptop sleeve reached through main compartment only
- Minimal hipbelt: no load transfer to the hips
The Arc'teryx Mantis 26 Backpack is a 26 litre unisex daypack built for the daily commute, travel and day hikes. It is a panel-load pack with a drawbridge-style opening, so you reach the whole main compartment at once instead of digging through a narrow top hole. A padded back panel with a frame sheet and an aluminium stay keeps the load steady against your back.
Who is the Arc'teryx Mantis 26 Backpack for?
This one is for you if you want a single clean, durable pack for work, school or campus with a laptop, for carry-on and personal-item travel, and for the occasional day hike. The Arc'teryx Mantis 26 Backpack is not a mountain pack: there is no ski or board carry, no ice-axe attachment, no helmet carry and no compartment for a probe and shovel. If you need a touring or freeride pack, choose a dedicated snowsport model.
Is the Arc'teryx Mantis 26 Backpack waterproof?
No. The shell fabric of the Mantis 26 Backpack has a water-repellent (DWR) finish that sheds light moisture and a short shower, but the pack is not waterproof. In sustained rain or snow, pack your laptop and documents in a dry bag or add a separate rain cover. Two front zippered pockets, a top lid pocket and stretch mesh side pockets with adjustable retention take a bottle or a mug, while the internal sleeve holds a laptop or a hydration reservoir and a zippered security pocket with key clip keeps small valuables in one place.
Which size should you choose?
The Arc'teryx Mantis 26 Backpack comes in one size (OSFA) with an adjustable sternum strap and no back-length adjustment. The back length is fixed and sits short on some wearers, so if you have a long torso, load the pack and check how the back panel and straps sit before you commit.
How is the Arc'teryx Mantis 26 Backpack constructed?
The Arc'teryx Mantis 26 Backpack is built around a padded back panel with a frame sheet and an aluminium stay. The frame sheet spreads pressure across your back and the stay keeps the bag's shape, so books, a laptop and a jacket do not collapse into a lump between your shoulder blades. The main compartment is panel-load: the drawbridge-style opening folds down and exposes the full volume, which makes packing and finding things faster than in a drawstring pack. A top grab handle lets you lift it off a train rack or hand it over a counter, and the Arc'teryx Bird logo sits on the front.
Is the Arc'teryx Mantis 26 a good day hiking pack?
For a day out on a trail, 26 litres covers a shell jacket, a midlayer, food and a camera, and the stretch mesh side pockets with adjustable retention hold a bottle or a mug within reach. The internal sleeve also takes a hydration reservoir if you prefer to drink on the move. The limit is the harness: the hipbelt on the Mantis 26 is minimal and does not transfer weight onto your hips, so carry comfort drops once the load gets heavy and dense, and the pack starts to pull away from your back. Treat it as a light day and travel pack, not a load hauler. For ski touring and freeride there is no ski, board, ice-axe or avalanche-tool carry at all.
How do you look after the Arc'teryx Mantis 26 Backpack?
The Arc'teryx Mantis 26 Backpack is a surface-clean-only pack. Wipe it down with a damp cloth and mild soap; do not machine wash it, do not submerge it, and do not tumble dry, bleach, dry clean or iron it. That protects both the water-repellent finish and the frame sheet and stay inside the back panel. The Mantis 26 is offered in Black and in Tatsu / Peaksto, and lighter colourways show dirt and scuffs more readily than black, which is worth weighing if the pack will ride on train floors and office carpets every day.
What are the sustainability credentials of the Mantis 26?
The shell fabric of the Arc'teryx Mantis 26 Backpack is made with recycled content, and the pack is PFAS compliant and uses bluesign approved materials. It is produced in a Fair Trade Certified facility. As with other synthetic fabrics, the material can release plastic microfibres into the environment when washed, which is one more reason to surface clean the pack rather than put it in a machine.
