Is your purchase not quite what you expected or is the size incorrect? No problem, you can easily return your order to us. You may try on and view an item as you would in a shop, but there are some rules.

GOOD TO KNOW

  • You have 14 days from receipt of your order to register your return.
  • Are you too late? Then your order will no longer be found in the portal. In that case, always contact us first so we can see what possibilities there are.
  • After registering online, you then have 14 days to hand in your return at the post office. If you hand in the parcel after the 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return. The sooner you register and send in your return, the sooner it will be processed and you will receive your money back.
  • Almost all outerwear and trousers are delivered with a large yellow return label. Do not remove this until you decide to keep the item! Once this vignette has been removed, there is no way we can return the item.
  • Returns are at your own risk and expense.
  • If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.
  • If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please always contact us a.s.a.p. and include photos of the product and the labels so we can see which item/defect is concerned.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE:

1. Check your items

√ Has the return period of 14 days after receipt not expired

√ Is the yellow return label (in the case of outerwear and trousers) and all price tags still attached?

√ Is the article unworn and therefore not dirty, damaged or creased?

2. Submit your return online

Enter your own postcode and the full order number (including letters) in the portal to which you can start the return. You can choose to purchase a DPD shipping label via the portal. If you choose this option, print the shipping label. You can download this immediately and it will also be sent to you by e-mail (please check your e-mail address and any spam mail).

You can also choose another carrier outside the portal. We always advise you to send the parcel insured. The DPD label via the portal insures your parcel up to €500.

3. Pack your return

√ Fold the items neatly and close all zips and buttons. Because of the technical materials it is important not to cause serious creases and wrinkles, as these can damage the product.

Then pack the items back in their original packaging and put them in the shipping bag or box. Another bag or box is also fine, as long as it is sturdy so that it arrives undamaged

√ If you have items from several orders that you wish to return, you may simply return them in 1 parcel

√ Put the enclosed packing slip/order confirmation (or a copy) in the parcel

√ Stick the DPD shipping label on the parcel.

If you have chosen to send via another carrier, please write the return address on the parcel:

Skistore Swing

De Opslach 3

4. Shipping

Hand over your return at a DPD parcel point or a carrier of your choice.

Returning (part of) your order is at your own risk. Keep the proof of delivery until we have received and processed your package.

Please note! After registering your return online, you have 14 days to return your parcel to the postal service. If you return the parcel after these 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return.

5. Refund

You will receive confirmation by e-mail when your return has been received and processed.

This is usually within a few days after your order has been delivered to us. The money will then be refunded to the account you paid with within a week after confirmation (usually longer for credit card payments). If you have chosen to pay afterwards, this will be adjusted on your Klarna invoice.

Please note! If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.

The Helly Hansen Emiko Ridable Puffy Jacket is a men's insulated puffy ski jacket filled with PrimaLoft® Black Insulation ThermoPlume+, built for resort and off-piste days in the cold. It stands apart by pairing a quilted look and fit inspired by Japanese quilting with full ski equipment: a helmet-compatible hood, an adjustable powder skirt, a RECCO® reflector and shoulder webbing for carrying skis.

Who is the Emiko Ridable Puffy Jacket for?

The Helly Hansen Emiko Ridable Puffy Jacket suits skiers of all levels who ride the resort, head off-piste or into the backcountry, and who also want a jacket for winter in the city. It is not built for long days in heavy rain or very wet snow, because its weather protection comes from a DWR-treated 2-layer ripstop shell. As an insulated puffy it also runs warm as the outer layer on sustained uphill ski touring and on mild spring days.

How warm is the Emiko Ridable Puffy Jacket?

Warmth in the Emiko Ridable Puffy Jacket comes from PrimaLoft® Black Insulation ThermoPlume+, a synthetic 100% polyester insulation that Helly Hansen designs to give the feel and performance of down. The windproof outer is a 2-layer ripstop polyamide shell with a DWR treatment. Ventilation openings and a fan zip in the collar let you release heat when you work harder. A soft fleece chin guard and adjustable, elastic cuffs keep cold air out on the chairlift.

Which size should I choose in the Emiko Ridable Puffy Jacket?

The Helly Hansen Emiko Ridable Puffy Jacket has a puffy, quilted silhouette with a look and fit inspired by Japanese quilting, plus articulated elbows for movement in the arms. Compare your body measurements with the Helly Hansen men's size chart on this product page before you order. The fan zip in the collar makes it easy to adjust the layers underneath, and the hood is designed to go over a ski helmet.

How is the Helly Hansen Emiko Ridable Puffy Jacket constructed?

The Helly Hansen Emiko Ridable Puffy Jacket uses a 2-layer construction: a ripstop outer shell of 100% polyamide over a 100% polyester lining, with PrimaLoft® Black Insulation ThermoPlume+ in the quilted body. The shell carries a Durable Water Repellency (DWR) treatment, so snow and moisture stay on the surface of the face fabric instead of soaking in. The front opening has a fan construction, and the chest and hand pockets close with YKK® zippers. An adjustable bottom hem with drawcord closes the jacket at the waist.

How does the Emiko Ridable Puffy Jacket work on the piste and off-piste?

On resort days the Helly Hansen Emiko Ridable Puffy Jacket covers the details skiers use on every run. The ski pass pocket keeps your pass ready at the gate, the adjustable powder skirt seals the hem against snow, and the helmet-compatible hood adjusts vertically and horizontally. A neon hood brim adds visibility. The LIFE POCKET™ is designed to extend your phone's battery life in the cold, with a phone leash and phone holder inside the pocket.

Off-piste and in the backcountry, the protective webbing on the shoulders of the Emiko Ridable Puffy Jacket is designed to prevent damage when you carry skis over your shoulder. The RECCO® reflector can be located by professional rescue teams using RECCO detectors. A back pocket with secure zipper, an inner chest pocket with zipper and an inside stash pocket add storage beyond the chest and hand pockets.

Is the Emiko Ridable Puffy Jacket suitable for ski touring?

Helly Hansen lists ski touring and snowshoeing among the uses of the Emiko Ridable Puffy Jacket, but an insulated puffy ski jacket runs warm under high exertion, even with the ventilation openings open. On a tour it works best for the descent and for breaks at the top, not as the outer layer on a long ascent. The Emiko Ridable Puffy Jacket has no harness or mountaineering features, so it is not a jacket for technical climbing or high-alpine routes. In town, the quilted look makes it a winter jacket for city use as well.

What is the Emiko Ridable Puffy Jacket made of, and how do you wash it?

The Helly Hansen Emiko Ridable Puffy Jacket combines a 100% polyamide ripstop shell, a 100% polyester lining and 100% polyester insulation. The ripstop fabric is designed to resist wear and tear, and Helly Hansen designs ThermoPlume+ insulation to be easier to wash and dry than down. Wash the jacket with a liquid detergent and leave out fabric softener. Tumble dry it until it is completely dry, with dryer balls in the drum. Tumble drying also reactivates the water-repellent treatment, which needs regular reactivation to keep snow and moisture beading off the shell.
