Is your purchase not quite what you expected or is the size incorrect? No problem, you can easily return your order to us. You may try on and view an item as you would in a shop, but there are some rules.
GOOD TO KNOW
- You have 14 days from receipt of your order to register your return.
- Are you too late? Then your order will no longer be found in the portal. In that case, always contact us first so we can see what possibilities there are.
- After registering online, you then have 14 days to hand in your return at the post office. If you hand in the parcel after the 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return. The sooner you register and send in your return, the sooner it will be processed and you will receive your money back.
- Almost all outerwear and trousers are delivered with a large yellow return label. Do not remove this until you decide to keep the item! Once this vignette has been removed, there is no way we can return the item.
- Returns are at your own risk and expense.
- If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.
- If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please always contact us a.s.a.p. and include photos of the product and the labels so we can see which item/defect is concerned.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE:
1. Check your items
√ Has the return period of 14 days after receipt not expired
√ Is the yellow return label (in the case of outerwear and trousers) and all price tags still attached?
√ Is the article unworn and therefore not dirty, damaged or creased?
2. Submit your return online
Enter your own postcode and the full order number (including letters) in the portal to which you can start the return. You can choose to purchase a DPD shipping label via the portal. If you choose this option, print the shipping label. You can download this immediately and it will also be sent to you by e-mail (please check your e-mail address and any spam mail).
You can also choose another carrier outside the portal. We always advise you to send the parcel insured. The DPD label via the portal insures your parcel up to €500.
3. Pack your return
√ Fold the items neatly and close all zips and buttons. Because of the technical materials it is important not to cause serious creases and wrinkles, as these can damage the product.
Then pack the items back in their original packaging and put them in the shipping bag or box. Another bag or box is also fine, as long as it is sturdy so that it arrives undamaged
√ If you have items from several orders that you wish to return, you may simply return them in 1 parcel
√ Put the enclosed packing slip/order confirmation (or a copy) in the parcel
√ Stick the DPD shipping label on the parcel.
If you have chosen to send via another carrier, please write the return address on the parcel:
Skistore Swing
De Opslach 3
8448 GV Heerenveen
The Netherlands
4. Shipping
Hand over your return at a DPD parcel point or a carrier of your choice.
Returning (part of) your order is at your own risk. Keep the proof of delivery until we have received and processed your package.
Please note! After registering your return online, you have 14 days to return your parcel to the postal service. If you return the parcel after these 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return.
5. Refund
You will receive confirmation by e-mail when your return has been received and processed.
This is usually within a few days after your order has been delivered to us. The money will then be refunded to the account you paid with within a week after confirmation (usually longer for credit card payments). If you have chosen to pay afterwards, this will be adjusted on your Klarna invoice.
Please note! If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.

- 80 g PrimaLoft Black Eco insulation, 710 g total
- HELLY TECH Professional with fully sealed seams
- 4-way stretch and articulated knees for carving
- 80 g fill: light warmth, not for very cold days
- Insulated: runs warm on ski-touring ascents
- Waist pant, no bib: less snow protection in powder
The Helly Hansen Alphelia Insulated Ski Pants are women's piste ski pants with a HELLY TECH® Professional waterproof/breathable membrane, fully sealed seams and 80 g PrimaLoft® Black Eco insulation. A 4-way stretch shell and articulated knees give you freedom of movement for carving on groomed slopes. The pants weigh 710 g.
Who are the Helly Hansen Alphelia Insulated Ski Pants for?
The Helly Hansen Alphelia Insulated Ski Pants suit women who ski on piste and around the resort in variable winter weather and want light insulation built into their ski pants. They are not designed for ski touring with long ascents, for mountaineering or high-alpine routes, or for climbing. If you feel the cold easily on very cold days, choose a more heavily insulated pant. If you want a bib for extra snow protection at the back in deep powder, or a non-insulated shell to layer freely in mild spring conditions, choose a different model.
How warm and waterproof are the Alphelia Insulated Ski Pants?
The Alphelia Insulated Ski Pants use 80 g PrimaLoft® Black Eco synthetic insulation, which Helly Hansen describes as a light touch of warmth. This is warmth for active skiing, not heavy insulation for long stops in deep cold. The HELLY TECH® Professional membrane and fully sealed seams keep snow and rain out, and a water-repellent treatment protects the outer fabric. Mechanical ventilation zippers let you release heat when you work hard or when the sun comes out.
Which size should I choose in the Alphelia Insulated Ski Pants?
The Alphelia Insulated Ski Pants are a waist pant, not a bib, with a classic, sleek cut. Stretch fabric and articulated knees keep the fit mobile when you bend into a turn. An adjustable waist with fastener and belt loops let you fine-tune the fit at the waist. Compare your measurements with the size chart on this product page before you order.
How are the Helly Hansen Alphelia Insulated Ski Pants built?
The Helly Hansen Alphelia Insulated Ski Pants combine a 4-way stretch shell of 85% polyamide and 15% elastane with a secondary shell fabric of 100% polyamide. This shell works together with the HELLY TECH® Professional waterproof/breathable membrane, and every seam is sealed, so water has no route in through the stitching. Inside, 80 g PrimaLoft® Black Eco insulation made of 100% polyester adds a light layer of warmth. The main lining is 86% polyester and 14% elastane, so it also contains stretch, while two further lining fabrics are 100% polyamide. A RECCO® reflector is integrated into the pants and can be picked up by RECCO® search equipment used by rescue teams.
How do the Alphelia Insulated Ski Pants perform when carving on piste?
The Helly Hansen Alphelia Insulated Ski Pants are designed for groomed slopes and carving. The 4-way stretch fabric and articulated knees follow your legs when you drop into a low, angulated turn. At the bottom of each leg you get a reinforced section and a snow gaiter that closes around your ski boot to keep snow out. Zippered hand pockets hold small items such as a lift pass or phone securely. On a resort day with fresh snow, the waterproof, seam-sealed construction, snow gaiters and RECCO® reflector let you take these ski pants off the groomed runs. As a waist pant without a bib, they give less snow protection at the back and torso than bib pants when you ski deep powder.
Are the Alphelia Insulated Ski Pants suitable for ski touring or spring skiing?
The Helly Hansen Alphelia Insulated Ski Pants are insulated piste pants with 80 g fill and a weight of 710 g, with no touring-specific features. On long ascents they will run warm, even with the mechanical ventilation zippers open. In mild spring conditions or during high-output skiing, the insulation can also feel warm; opening the ventilation zippers helps you vent heat. For touring, mountaineering or climbing, a lighter, non-insulated technical shell pant is the better match.
What are the Alphelia Insulated Ski Pants made of, and how do you wash them?
The Helly Hansen Alphelia Insulated Ski Pants are made of polyamide and elastane on the outside, polyester and polyamide linings, and polyester PrimaLoft® Black Eco insulation. Wash them with a detergent made for technical garments, with similar colours, and close all zippers and hook-and-loop fasteners first. Do not soak the pants and do not use fabric softener. After washing, tumble dry the pants: the heat reactivates the water-repellent treatment on the outer fabric, so water keeps running off the surface. Do not iron over the printed HH® logo.
