Is your purchase not quite what you expected or is the size incorrect? No problem, you can easily return your order to us. You may try on and view an item as you would in a shop, but there are some rules.

GOOD TO KNOW

  • You have 14 days from receipt of your order to register your return.
  • Are you too late? Then your order will no longer be found in the portal. In that case, always contact us first so we can see what possibilities there are.
  • After registering online, you then have 14 days to hand in your return at the post office. If you hand in the parcel after the 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return. The sooner you register and send in your return, the sooner it will be processed and you will receive your money back.
  • Almost all outerwear and trousers are delivered with a large yellow return label. Do not remove this until you decide to keep the item! Once this vignette has been removed, there is no way we can return the item.
  • Returns are at your own risk and expense.
  • If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.
  • If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please always contact us a.s.a.p. and include photos of the product and the labels so we can see which item/defect is concerned.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE:

1. Check your items

√ Has the return period of 14 days after receipt not expired

√ Is the yellow return label (in the case of outerwear and trousers) and all price tags still attached?

√ Is the article unworn and therefore not dirty, damaged or creased?

2. Submit your return online

Enter your own postcode and the full order number (including letters) in the portal to which you can start the return. You can choose to purchase a DPD shipping label via the portal. If you choose this option, print the shipping label. You can download this immediately and it will also be sent to you by e-mail (please check your e-mail address and any spam mail).

You can also choose another carrier outside the portal. We always advise you to send the parcel insured. The DPD label via the portal insures your parcel up to €500.

3. Pack your return

√ Fold the items neatly and close all zips and buttons. Because of the technical materials it is important not to cause serious creases and wrinkles, as these can damage the product.

Then pack the items back in their original packaging and put them in the shipping bag or box. Another bag or box is also fine, as long as it is sturdy so that it arrives undamaged

√ If you have items from several orders that you wish to return, you may simply return them in 1 parcel

√ Put the enclosed packing slip/order confirmation (or a copy) in the parcel

√ Stick the DPD shipping label on the parcel.

If you have chosen to send via another carrier, please write the return address on the parcel:

Skistore Swing

De Opslach 3

8448 GV Heerenveen

The Netherlands

4. Shipping

Hand over your return at a DPD parcel point or a carrier of your choice.

Returning (part of) your order is at your own risk. Keep the proof of delivery until we have received and processed your package.

Please note! After registering your return online, you have 14 days to return your parcel to the postal service. If you return the parcel after these 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return.

5. Refund

You will receive confirmation by e-mail when your return has been received and processed.

This is usually within a few days after your order has been delivered to us. The money will then be refunded to the account you paid with within a week after confirmation (usually longer for credit card payments). If you have chosen to pay afterwards, this will be adjusted on your Klarna invoice.

Please note! If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.

The Helly Hansen Imperial Puffy Jacket is a women's insulated ski jacket for piste and resort skiing in colder conditions, built to double as a city jacket off the slopes. It stands out for its 100g PrimaLoft Black blowable synthetic insulation in angled channels. It also has a 2-way mechanical stretch shell, a powder skirt, a RECCO reflector and a Life Pocket that helps keep your phone battery working longer in the cold.

Who is the Helly Hansen Imperial Puffy Jacket for?

This insulated ski jacket suits skiers who spend their days on groomed runs and chairlifts in cold weather. It also suits anyone who wants one jacket for winter wear in town. It handles occasional off-piste runs. It is not built for ski touring or sustained uphill effort, because the 100g insulation will make you overheat on the climb even with the vents open. It is also too warm for mild spring days and is not designed for technical high-alpine mountaineering or climbing.

How warm and weatherproof is the Imperial Puffy Jacket?

The Imperial Puffy Jacket gets its warmth from 100g PrimaLoft Black synthetic insulation made of 100% polyester. The 2-layer construction uses windproof, waterproof fabrics. Wind protection is its strongest weather property, while waterproofing is moderate. A hardshell is the better choice for long days in wet snow or rain. Underarm ventilation zippers release heat when you work hard.

Which size of the Imperial Puffy Jacket should I choose?

Articulated sleeves and a 2-way mechanical stretch shell give the Helly Hansen Imperial Puffy Jacket freedom of movement when you pole and turn. Compare your chest, waist and hip measurements with the Helly Hansen women's size chart on this page. Then choose the size that matches them. You can fine-tune the fit over a helmet and layers with the adjustable hood, cuffs and hem drawcord.

How is the Helly Hansen Imperial Puffy Jacket constructed?

The Helly Hansen Imperial Puffy Jacket has a 2-layer construction: a 100% polyester outer fabric with 2-way mechanical stretch and a 100% polyester lining. Between them sits PrimaLoft Black, a blowable synthetic insulation of 100% polyester, filled at 100g into angled channels that give the jacket its quilted puffy look. The stretch in the shell comes from the fabric structure, not from elastane, because every component is 100% polyester. Articulated sleeves follow the natural bend of your arms, so the insulated ski jacket does not pull at the shoulders when you reach for a pole or a lift bar.

How does the Imperial Puffy Jacket work on a resort ski day?

On the piste, the Helly Hansen Imperial Puffy Jacket seals out snow and cold at every opening. A high collar protects your neck on the chairlift. Wrist gaiters and adjustable cuffs with a fastener keep snow out of your sleeves. An adjustable powder skirt and a hem drawcord close the jacket at the waist. The hood fits over a ski helmet and adjusts with a drawcord. For storage, you get a ski pass pocket, an inner chest pocket with zipper, an internal mesh pocket for goggles or gloves, and hand pockets with a brushed lining. The Life Pocket™ helps your phone battery keep working longer in cold weather. A RECCO® reflector is built in, so rescue teams with RECCO detectors can locate you.

Can you ski off-piste or go ski touring in the Imperial Puffy Jacket?

The Helly Hansen Imperial Puffy Jacket handles occasional off-piste runs next to the resort, helped by the powder skirt and RECCO reflector. It is an insulated puffy, not a dedicated freeride shell. With moderate waterproofing, it is less suited to long days in deep wet snow or rain. For ski touring, the 100g insulation is too warm on the ascent, and the underarm ventilation zippers only partly offset the heat. For high-alpine mountaineering or climbing, choose a technical alpine jacket.

Does the Imperial Puffy Jacket work as a city jacket?

Yes. The Helly Hansen Imperial Puffy Jacket is designed to move from the slopes into everyday winter and city wear. The quilted channels, high collar and clean finish look like a winter jacket rather than a technical shell. It comes in Cream and Black.

What is the Imperial Puffy Jacket made of and how do you wash it?

Shell, lining and insulation of the Helly Hansen Imperial Puffy Jacket are all 100% polyester. Close all zippers before washing, wash with similar colours, and do not soak the jacket or use fabric softener. Remove it from the washer promptly. Tumble dry it with dryer balls until it is completely dry. Do not iron on the print.

Is the Helly Hansen Imperial Puffy Jacket sustainably made?

The Helly Hansen Imperial Puffy Jacket is a bluesign® product. The bluesign® system governs the chemicals and resources used in textile production.
