Is your purchase not quite what you expected or is the size incorrect? No problem, you can easily return your order to us. You may try on and view an item as you would in a shop, but there are some rules.
GOOD TO KNOW
- You have 14 days from receipt of your order to register your return.
- Are you too late? Then your order will no longer be found in the portal. In that case, always contact us first so we can see what possibilities there are.
- After registering online, you then have 14 days to hand in your return at the post office. If you hand in the parcel after the 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return. The sooner you register and send in your return, the sooner it will be processed and you will receive your money back.
- Almost all outerwear and trousers are delivered with a large yellow return label. Do not remove this until you decide to keep the item! Once this vignette has been removed, there is no way we can return the item.
- Returns are at your own risk and expense.
- If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.
- If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please always contact us a.s.a.p. and include photos of the product and the labels so we can see which item/defect is concerned.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE:
1. Check your items
√ Has the return period of 14 days after receipt not expired
√ Is the yellow return label (in the case of outerwear and trousers) and all price tags still attached?
√ Is the article unworn and therefore not dirty, damaged or creased?
2. Submit your return online
Enter your own postcode and the full order number (including letters) in the portal to which you can start the return. You can choose to purchase a DPD shipping label via the portal. If you choose this option, print the shipping label. You can download this immediately and it will also be sent to you by e-mail (please check your e-mail address and any spam mail).
You can also choose another carrier outside the portal. We always advise you to send the parcel insured. The DPD label via the portal insures your parcel up to €500.
3. Pack your return
√ Fold the items neatly and close all zips and buttons. Because of the technical materials it is important not to cause serious creases and wrinkles, as these can damage the product.
Then pack the items back in their original packaging and put them in the shipping bag or box. Another bag or box is also fine, as long as it is sturdy so that it arrives undamaged
√ If you have items from several orders that you wish to return, you may simply return them in 1 parcel
√ Put the enclosed packing slip/order confirmation (or a copy) in the parcel
√ Stick the DPD shipping label on the parcel.
If you have chosen to send via another carrier, please write the return address on the parcel:
Skistore Swing
De Opslach 3
8448 GV Heerenveen
The Netherlands
4. Shipping
Hand over your return at a DPD parcel point or a carrier of your choice.
Returning (part of) your order is at your own risk. Keep the proof of delivery until we have received and processed your package.
Please note! After registering your return online, you have 14 days to return your parcel to the postal service. If you return the parcel after these 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return.
5. Refund
You will receive confirmation by e-mail when your return has been received and processed.
This is usually within a few days after your order has been delivered to us. The money will then be refunded to the account you paid with within a week after confirmation (usually longer for credit card payments). If you have chosen to pay afterwards, this will be adjusted on your Klarna invoice.
Please note! If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.

- Fusion system links jacket to pants in deep snow
- 80 g insulation plus vents for powder and resort days
- Snap-away powder skirt and helmet-compatible hood
- About 1000 g: too heavy to carry as a pack layer
- 80 g insulation runs warm on long climbs
- Fusion system works only with compatible ski pants
The Helly Hansen Powshot Jacket is a women's insulated ski jacket for freeride and off-piste powder skiing. It has a 2-layer HELLY TECH® PERFORMANCE construction that is waterproof, breathable and windproof, fully seam sealed and treated with DWR. What sets it apart is the fusion modular system, which connects the jacket to compatible ski pants so it does not ride up in deep snow. It also has 80 g insulation and a snap-away powder skirt.
Who is the Helly Hansen Powshot Jacket for?
The Powshot ski jacket suits women who ski powder and off-piste lines and want one insulated jacket that also works on resort days. You can use it on backcountry tours, and mechanical ventilation zippers let you release heat on the way up. It is not the right jacket for long, high-output uphill tours, where a light uninsulated shell makes more sense. It is not built for climbing or technical mountaineering either. At about 1000 g, the Powshot Jacket is not a layer to stow in your pack as a spare.
How warm and weatherproof is the Powshot ski jacket?
The Helly Hansen Powshot Jacket combines 80 g insulation with a lined 2-layer HELLY TECH® PERFORMANCE construction. Every seam is sealed, and a DWR treatment makes snow and water bead off the outer fabric. The insulation makes it warmer than an uninsulated shell, which helps on lift rides and descents. That same warmth can cause overheating on sustained climbs, and the ventilation zippers only partly offset it. The helmet-compatible hood adjusts vertically and horizontally, and a soft fleece chin guard protects your face from the zipper.
Which size of the Powshot Jacket should I choose?
The women's Powshot Jacket has a relaxed fit. It is not cut close to the body. Articulated sleeves and 2-way mechanical stretch fabric give you freedom of movement. A tail drop lengthens the back hem, and the bottom hem is adjustable. Compare your body measurements with the Helly Hansen women's jacket size chart on this page and choose the size that matches. If you want a slim, close-to-body ski jacket, choose a different model.
How is the Helly Hansen Powshot Jacket built?
The Helly Hansen Powshot Jacket uses a 2-layer HELLY TECH® PERFORMANCE construction that is waterproof, breathable and windproof. The outer fabric is 100% polyester with 2-way mechanical stretch, and every seam is sealed. A Durable Water Repellency (DWR) treatment on the face fabric makes water bead off. Inside, a lining of 100% polyester and 100% polyamide sits over the 80 g insulation. Compared with a dedicated 3-layer touring or freeride shell, a lined 2-layer jacket like the Powshot typically has more bulk and breathes less under hard effort. In return, the Powshot ski jacket gives you built-in warmth.
How does the Powshot Jacket perform on freeride and backcountry days?
For off-piste skiing, the Helly Hansen Powshot Jacket is designed to keep snow out. The fusion modular system links the jacket to your ski pants so it does not ride up in deep powder. This connection only works with ski pants that attach to the fusion system, so check that your pants are compatible. The snap-away, adjustable powder skirt closes off the waist. At the wrists, you get elastic cuffs plus adjustable cuffs with a fastener. The helmet-compatible hood adjusts vertically and horizontally and has a neon colour brim.
On backcountry tours, the Helly Hansen Powshot Jacket is usable rather than purpose-built. The mechanical ventilation zippers let heat out on the ascent. Even so, the 80 g insulation and a weight of about 1000 g make the jacket warm and heavy for long climbs. The Powshot ski jacket is not designed for climbing or technical mountaineering and has no climbing-specific features.
Which pockets and details does the Powshot ski jacket have?
On resort and powder days, the Helly Hansen Powshot Jacket gives you a ski pass pocket and a goggle pocket with goggle wipe. It also has chest pockets, hand pockets with brushed lining and an inner chest pocket. A YKK® 2-way zipper closes the jacket, and a soft fleece chin guard sits at the top of the collar. The tail drop and adjustable bottom hem let you close the jacket at the hips. An internal hanging loop and a printed HH® logo complete the details.
What is the Powshot ski jacket made of, and how should you wash it?
The Helly Hansen Powshot Jacket has a 100% polyester shell, a 100% polyester lining and a second lining in 100% polyamide. Close all zippers and hook-and-loop fasteners before washing, and wash the jacket separately. Do not soak it, and do not use fabric softener. Tumble dry the jacket to reactivate the water-repellent treatment, so the outer fabric keeps beading water after each wash. Take it out of the dryer promptly, and do not iron over the print.
Is the Helly Hansen Powshot Jacket a bluesign® product?
Yes. The Helly Hansen Powshot Jacket is a bluesign® product. This women's ski jacket comes in Bright Lavender, Cranberry and Black.
