- Are you too late? Then your order will no longer be found in the portal. In that case, always contact us first so we can see what possibilities there are.
- After registering online, you then have 14 days to hand in your return at the post office. If you hand in the parcel after the 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return. The sooner you register and send in your return, the sooner it will be processed and you will receive your money back.
- Almost all outerwear and trousers are delivered with a large yellow return label. Do not remove this until you decide to keep the item! Once this vignette has been removed, there is no way we can return the item.
- Returns are at your own risk and expense.
- If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.
- If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please always contact us a.s.a.p. and include photos of the product and the labels so we can see which item/defect is concerned.
STEP BY STEP GUIDE:
1. Check your items
√ Has the return period of 14 days after receipt not expired
√ Is the yellow return label (in the case of outerwear and trousers) and all price tags still attached?
√ Is the article unworn and therefore not dirty, damaged or creased?
2. Submit your return online
Enter your own postcode and the full order number (including letters) in the portal to which you can start the return. You can choose to purchase a DPD shipping label via the portal. If you choose this option, print the shipping label. You can download this immediately and it will also be sent to you by e-mail (please check your e-mail address and any spam mail).
You can also choose another carrier outside the portal. We always advise you to send the parcel insured. The DPD label via the portal insures your parcel up to €500.
3. Pack your return
√ Fold the items neatly and close all zips and buttons. Because of the technical materials it is important not to cause serious creases and wrinkles, as these can damage the product.
Then pack the items back in their original packaging and put them in the shipping bag or box. Another bag or box is also fine, as long as it is sturdy so that it arrives undamaged
√ If you have items from several orders that you wish to return, you may simply return them in 1 parcel
√ Put the enclosed packing slip/order confirmation (or a copy) in the parcel
√ Stick the DPD shipping label on the parcel.

The Peak Performance Outdoor Sling Bag 4,5L is a unisex sling bag for carrying a bottle, a phone and a few essentials close to the body during outdoor activity. It takes a hydration bladder in a dedicated compartment, and the shell and lining are built largely from recycled polyamide, made without intentionally added PFAS. An adjustable three-point strap with Swivi-lockster sets the bag high across the chest or low on the hip.
Who is the Outdoor Sling Bag 4,5L for?
This is a bag for walks, approach hikes, travel and everyday carry, where you want a bottle, keys, phone and a snack on your body instead of a pack on your back. At 4,5 L it is not a day pack for the mountain: there is no carry system for skis, a snowboard or an ice axe, and no dedicated shovel or probe compartment, so it is not an avalanche-gear carrier. It also has no hip belt, so heavier loads are outside its range.
How weatherproof is the Outdoor Sling Bag 4,5L?
The fabric is water-repellent, which handles light drizzle, blowing snow and a damp bench. It is not a waterproof bag: there is no membrane and no seam sealing, so in sustained rain or wet snow put anything that must stay dry into a separate dry bag or dry sack inside it.
Which size should you choose?
The Peak Performance Outdoor Sling Bag 4,5L comes in one size (NS), so no body measurement is needed. Fit is set by the adjustable three-point strap and the adjustable shoulder strap, which give enough range to wear it over a shell jacket or directly over a base layer. The chest pocket sits on the strap and stays reachable while the bag is on.
How is the Peak Performance Outdoor Sling Bag 4,5L constructed?
The Peak Performance Outdoor Sling Bag 4,5L combines three shell fabrics: a 100% recycled polyamide panel, a 100% polyamide panel and a 100% polyester panel, with a 100% recycled polyamide lining inside. The body-side panel uses a 125 gsm air mesh, fine-meshed and with stretch, so the bag sits against the back or chest with some give rather than flat and rigid. Closure runs on a YKK reversed coil zip. Inside there are multiple inner pockets for small items, with a back patch pocket on the outside, a mesh side pocket with a loop for a water bottle, and a chest pocket on the strap itself.
Is the Outdoor Sling Bag 4,5L suitable for ski touring?
No. The Outdoor Sling Bag 4,5L has no attachment system for skis, a splitboard or an ice axe and no compartment laid out for a shovel and probe, so it does not replace a touring or freeride pack. Where it does work is everything around the activity: an approach walk or summer hike with a bladder in the hydration compartment and a bottle in the mesh side pocket, a travel day when you want your passport and phone on your front, or a resort trip where you need a small bag for the village rather than for the slope. Peak Performance built this one for personal essentials, and it stops at essentials.
What materials is it made of and how do you clean it?
The mix of recycled and virgin polyamide with a polyester panel gives a synthetic bag with no absorbent fibres, which is why cleaning is deliberately simple: the Peak Performance Outdoor Sling Bag 4,5L should not be washed at all. Wipe it with a damp cloth, skip bleach, and let it line dry in the shade rather than using a tumble dryer. Do not iron it, and do not send it for dry cleaning or professional wet cleaning. For a bag worn against the body, that means wiping the mesh panel down regularly instead of waiting for a wash cycle that is not an option.

Shell 1 and the lining of the Peak Performance Outdoor Sling Bag 4,5L are both 100% recycled polyamide, so a large part of the fabric comes from recycled input rather than virgin yarn.
