- After registering online, you then have 14 days to hand in your return at the post office. - Almost all outerwear and trousers are delivered with a large yellow return label. Do not remove this until you decide to keep the item! Once this vignette has been removed, there is no way we can return the item.
- Returns are at your own risk and expense.

- If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please always contact us a.s.a.p. and include photos of the product and the labels so we can see which item/defect is concerned.

2. Submit your return online
Enter your own postcode and the full order number (including letters) in the portal to which you can start the return. You can choose to purchase a DPD shipping label via the portal. If you choose this option, print the shipping label. You can download this immediately and it will also be sent to you by e-mail (please check your e-mail address and any spam mail).
You can also choose another carrier outside the portal. We always advise you to send the parcel insured. The DPD label via the portal insures your parcel up to €500.
3. Pack your return
√ Fold the items neatly and close all zips and buttons. Because of the technical materials it is important not to cause serious creases and wrinkles, as these can damage the product.
Then pack the items back in their original packaging and put them in the shipping bag or box. Another bag or box is also fine, as long as it is sturdy so that it arrives undamaged
√ If you have items from several orders that you wish to return, you may simply return them in 1 parcel
√ Put the enclosed packing slip/order confirmation (or a copy) in the parcel
√ Stick the DPD shipping label on the parcel.

The Peak Performance Treeline GORE-TEX 3L Shell Jacket Women is a three-layer waterproof shell jacket for hiking and everyday use in rain and wind, built around a GORE-TEX ePE membrane with a 28,000 mm water column and fully seam-sealed construction. It has no insulation at all, so it is made to go over your own layers rather than replace them. The 70D lightweight ripstop face fabric keeps the jacket light rather than armoured.
Who is this jacket for?
This is the shell for someone who wants one waterproof, windproof jacket for hiking, travel and wet days in town, and who is happy to add a base layer and a midlayer underneath when it gets cold. The Peak Performance Treeline GORE-TEX 3L Shell Jacket Women is not a resort ski jacket: there is no powder skirt, no ski-pass pocket, no wrist gaiters and no stated helmet compatibility. It is also not the jacket for rock scrambling or hauling a heavy pack, because the 70D ripstop face is chosen for low weight over abrasion resistance.
How waterproof and breathable is the Treeline GORE-TEX 3L Shell Jacket?
The water column is 28,000 mm, the membrane is a GORE-TEX ePE laminate of 100% expanded polyethylene, and every seam is sealed, so sustained rain and wind-driven sleet stay out. Breathability is stated as RET <20, which sits at the lower end of the breathable range for a membrane shell, and there are no pit zips or other ventilation openings. On a steady hike in cool, wet weather that is a non-issue; on a fast climb in mild weather you will notice the heat building.
Which size should you choose?
The cut is a regular fit, with enough room for a base layer and a normal midlayer underneath. Sizes run XS to L, with XS offered in BLACK only. Check the size chart on this page against your own measurements, and look closely at the chest measurement if you plan to wear a thick insulated midlayer under the shell.
How is the three-layer construction built?
The Peak Performance Treeline GORE-TEX 3L Shell Jacket Women uses a three-layer laminate: a 70D ripstop face fabric, a GORE-TEX ePE membrane of 100% expanded polyethylene, and a bonded TR2 backer instead of a loose lining. Bonding all three into one fabric is what keeps a 28,000 mm shell this thin and quiet, and it means there is no inner layer to cling when you pull the jacket on over a midlayer. Every seam is sealed, and the front closes with a full-length YKK AquaGuard coil zipper. A RECCO Rescue System reflector is built in, which makes you searchable by rescue teams equipped with a RECCO detector.
What does this shell do on the trail, and where does it stop?
On a multi-hour hike in driving rain, this is exactly the kind of jacket you want: windproof, fully waterproof, and light enough to live in a daypack on days when the forecast is uncertain. The fixed hood adjusts with one hand, so you can tighten it while the other hand stays on a pole, and the hem drawcord plus the hook-and-loop sleeve adjusters seal the gaps when the wind turns. In the mountains it works as a weather layer over insulation. What it does not do is keep you warm on its own, and it does not cover resort skiing: no powder skirt, no ski-pass pocket, no wrist gaiters. The hood is fixed and cannot be removed.
What is it made of and how do you wash it?
The shell face is 100% recycled polyamide 6, the backer is 100% polyamide 6.6 and the membrane is expanded polyethylene; the pocket bags use the same membrane-and-backer build with a polyamide 6 face. Polyamide gives the ripstop its tear resistance at low weight, but it is a lightweight 70D, so treat rough rock and heavy loads with care. Wash at 40 degrees with the zips closed, skip the fabric softener, and tumble dry low or iron at medium afterwards: that heat step is what reactivates the water-repellent treatment on the face fabric. Dry cleaning and professional wet cleaning are both out.
