Is your purchase not quite what you expected or is the size incorrect? No problem, you can easily return your order to us. You may try on and view an item as you would in a shop, but there are some rules.
GOOD TO KNOW
- You have 14 days from receipt of your order to register your return.
- Are you too late? Then your order will no longer be found in the portal. In that case, always contact us first so we can see what possibilities there are.
- After registering online, you then have 14 days to hand in your return at the post office. If you hand in the parcel after the 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return. The sooner you register and send in your return, the sooner it will be processed and you will receive your money back.
- Almost all outerwear and trousers are delivered with a large yellow return label. Do not remove this until you decide to keep the item! Once this vignette has been removed, there is no way we can return the item.
- Returns are at your own risk and expense.
- If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.
- If you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please always contact us a.s.a.p. and include photos of the product and the labels so we can see which item/defect is concerned.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE:
1. Check your items
√ Has the return period of 14 days after receipt not expired
√ Is the yellow return label (in the case of outerwear and trousers) and all price tags still attached?
√ Is the article unworn and therefore not dirty, damaged or creased?
2. Submit your return online
Enter your own postcode and the full order number (including letters) in the portal to which you can start the return. You can choose to purchase a DPD shipping label via the portal. If you choose this option, print the shipping label. You can download this immediately and it will also be sent to you by e-mail (please check your e-mail address and any spam mail).
You can also choose another carrier outside the portal. We always advise you to send the parcel insured. The DPD label via the portal insures your parcel up to €500.
3. Pack your return
√ Fold the items neatly and close all zips and buttons. Because of the technical materials it is important not to cause serious creases and wrinkles, as these can damage the product.
Then pack the items back in their original packaging and put them in the shipping bag or box. Another bag or box is also fine, as long as it is sturdy so that it arrives undamaged
√ If you have items from several orders that you wish to return, you may simply return them in 1 parcel
√ Put the enclosed packing slip/order confirmation (or a copy) in the parcel
√ Stick the DPD shipping label on the parcel.
If you have chosen to send via another carrier, please write the return address on the parcel:

4. Shipping
Hand over your return at a DPD parcel point or a carrier of your choice.
Returning (part of) your order is at your own risk. Keep the proof of delivery until we have received and processed your package.
Please note! After registering your return online, you have 14 days to return your parcel to the postal service. If you return the parcel after these 14 days, we will unfortunately no longer be able to process your return.
5. Refund
You will receive confirmation by e-mail when your return has been received and processed.
This is usually within a few days after your order has been delivered to us. The money will then be refunded to the account you paid with within a week after confirmation (usually longer for credit card payments). If you have chosen to pay afterwards, this will be adjusted on your Klarna invoice.
Please note! If you return part of your order, we will only refund the amount of the returned items and not other costs such as shipping costs.

- 700 fill power RDS-certified down
- Packs small, packing pouch included
- Two-way YKK Vislon zip and five pockets
- DWR only: not waterproof in sustained rain or snow
- Deep winter: wear it under a shell, not alone
- Not an outer layer for powder days with snow contact
The Mountain Studio D-9 WUL Ultralight Pertex Down Hood Jacket is a lightweight, packable women's down hood jacket filled with 700 fill power RDS-certified down in a diamond quilt construction. It is built as a year-round insulating layer for changing mountain conditions. Wear it on its own when the air is dry and crisp, or under a waterproof shell when rain, heavy snow or deep winter cold set in.
Who is the D-9 WUL Ultralight Pertex Down Hood Jacket for?
The D-9 WUL down hood jacket is for women who want a warm layer they can stow in a backpack and pull on when conditions change. That covers skiing and snowboarding under a shell, hiking, mountain travel and everyday mountain use, from cold winter days to cool summer evenings. It is not made for sustained rain, wet snow or heavy snowfall on its own. It is also not the right only outer layer for powder or freeride days with regular snow contact. On those days, wear it under a waterproof shell.
How warm and weather-resistant is the D-9 WUL down jacket?
The warmth of The Mountain Studio D-9 WUL comes from 700 fill power RDS-certified down held in diamond quilting. The lightweight Pertex outer fabric has a PFAS-free DWR (bionic finish) that repels light moisture. The jacket is not waterproof. A storm hood and elastic arm cuffs add coverage at the head and wrists. As a standalone jacket, the D-9 WUL is positioned for dry, crisp conditions and milder cold. In deep winter it belongs under a shell as the insulating layer.
Which size should I choose for the D-9 WUL down hood jacket?
Use the women's size chart on this product page and compare it with your own body measurements. The D-9 WUL Ultralight Pertex Down Hood Jacket is designed as an insulating layer, so decide first how you will wear it. You can wear it on its own over a base layer, or under a waterproof shell. If you plan to layer it under a shell, check that your shell leaves room for a down layer underneath.
How is the D-9 WUL Ultralight Pertex Down Hood Jacket constructed?
The Mountain Studio D-9 WUL Ultralight Pertex Down Hood Jacket combines two main components. The insulation is 700 fill power RDS-certified down, set in a diamond quilt construction. Over the down sits a lightweight Pertex outer fabric. A PFAS-free DWR (bionic finish) on that fabric makes light moisture bead off the surface. A two-way YKK Vislon front zipper closes the jacket and can be opened from the top or the bottom. A storm hood and elastic arm cuffs finish the openings. The down jacket includes a packing pouch, so you can carry it compressed until you need it.
Where do the pockets sit on the D-9 WUL down jacket?
The D-9 WUL women's down hood jacket has five pockets in total. Two zippered hand pockets sit at the front, and a zippered chest pocket gives you a third closable outside pocket. Two inner pockets complete the layout. A vertical stripe logo runs down the back.
Can you ski in the D-9 WUL Ultralight Pertex Down Hood Jacket?
Yes, as an insulating layer. The Mountain Studio intends the D-9 WUL down hood jacket for skiing and snowboarding worn under a waterproof shell. In that setup the shell handles snow and wet weather, and the 700 fill power down provides the warmth. Because the jacket is lightweight and packable, you can also stow it in a backpack as an extra warm layer for when conditions change during the day. As the only outer layer on the piste or off-piste, the D-9 WUL has clear limits. The Pertex shell carries a DWR finish only. That is not enough for powder or freeride days with regular snow contact, or for heavy snowfall.
Is the D-9 WUL down hood jacket suitable for hiking, travel and everyday wear?
The D-9 WUL Ultralight Pertex Down Hood Jacket is also intended for hiking, mountain travel and everyday mountain use. Worn on its own, it suits dry, crisp days and milder cold, from cold winter days in the valley to cool summer evenings at altitude. The packing pouch keeps it small in a travel bag or daypack. When the weather turns to sustained rain or heavy snow, put a waterproof shell over it.
What is the D-9 WUL made of and how do you wash it?
The outer fabric of The Mountain Studio D-9 WUL down jacket is Pertex with a PFAS-free DWR (bionic finish). The insulation is RDS-certified down with 700 fill power, and the zippers are by YKK, with a two-way YKK Vislon front zipper. Wash the jacket at 30 °C on an easy-care cycle with a mild detergent only and no fabric softener. Turn it inside out, close all zippers and wash it separately. Do not bleach, iron or dry clean it. Tumble dry on normal at low heat with a few tennis balls in the drum, as the care instructions advise.
What do RDS-certified down and PFAS-free DWR mean for the D-9 WUL?
The Mountain Studio D-9 WUL Ultralight Pertex Down Hood Jacket uses down certified to the Responsible Down Standard (RDS). The water-repellent finish on the Pertex outer fabric is a PFAS-free DWR (bionic finish). These are the two specific material statements the brand makes for this down hood jacket.
